Hi! I’m Emilee Saldaya, the founder of Free Birth Society.

Take a moment with me, as here I will answer the biggest questions I’m asked again and again throughout my journey as the global leader of the freebirth revolution. I break down what freebirth really is, what the “sovereign birth paradigm” is, what a radical birth keeper is, and what the blood mysteries are. All of these answers will guide you on your path in becoming part of our world here at Free Birth Society.

Freebirth is ecstasy. It is one of the most profound gifts women and their families get to enjoy as humans on this earth. Freebirth is available to all pregnant women around the world - and we are currently undergoing a birth liberation movement never seen before in history.

Free Birth Society is committed to legitimizing the option of wild pregnancy and freebirth into mainstream culture. Freebirth, that is, to birth outside from the medical paradigm at home with just your trusted loved ones, is in almost all cases, the optimal choice for motherbaby. We see the powerful ripple effects that choosing freebirth has on women and families, and we are passionate about creating a world where mothers and their children thrive.

Freebirth is the intentional choice to allow birth to unfold spontaneously at home, in the absence of any hired birth professionals. While much of the world might call that “extreme”, here at Free Birth Society, we know that it’s actually the most normal.

And while birth liberation is our primary focus, we are a MOVEMENT committed to bringing awareness and energy to the full scope of the continuum of the blood mysteries.

We know that to truly reclaim birth as the transformative rite of passage it is — to transform global birth culture and unleash the power of women through the experience of sovereign birth — we also have to shift birth-work into an entirely new paradigm.

As new or becoming mothers, we crave the archetype of the wise woman, the big sister, to shepherd us through the mighty threshold of maiden to mother. Medical (and midwifery) systems do not support physiology in the slightest. In fact, we choose birth outside of those systems because of how safe and physiologically natural the biological design of birth actually is.

Free Birth Society is a new paradigm for birthing outside and beyond the medical system that champions women’s intuition and revives authentic sisterhood through freebirth, authentic midwifery, and women-to-women wisdom rooted in the spiritual reclamation of embodied motherhood.
